Anti-glare Coatings
Do you spend a lot of time outdoors or looking at screens? Do nighttime lights cause you to see "halos?" If so, anti-glare lens coatings may be for you!
Anti-glare lens coatings (also sometimes referred to as anti-reflective or AR coatings) can help you see more clearly by minimizing the reflections on the surface of your lenses—thus reducing glare. Choose TechShield® Anti-Reflective Coatings and enjoy sharper vision with fewer reflections, scratches, and smudges.

Light-reactive Lenses
Do you spend a lot of time outdoors, or do you go in and out frequently? Do you find the hassle of changing from your prescription glasses to prescription sunglasses a pain? If so, consider light-reactive lenses.
Light-reactive lenses provide all the visual clarity of prescription lenses with the comfort and protection of outdoor lenses—all in one stylish package. These dynamic lenses stay clear indoors but quickly darken in sunlight. Think that light-reactive lenses take too long to go back to clear when indoors? Think again! SunSync® Elite lenses have revolutionized the game, changing from dark to clear in seconds.* Light-reactive lenses from SunSync also provide 100% UV protection.

Blue Light Reduction Coatings
Do you spend a lot of time in front of digital devices like smartphones, computers, or tablets? If so, blue light reduction coatings may be for you!
Blue light reduction coatings, like TechShield® Blue coatings, are designed to filter high-energy visible (HEV) light emitted by digital screens and natural sources like the sun. Blue light reduction coatings can be applied to both prescription and non-prescription eyewear.

Scratch-resistant Coatings
Are you concerned about protecting your lenses against everyday wear and tear? Are you selecting lenses for a child? If so, scratch-resistant coatings may be something to consider.
While nothing can make your lenses completely scratch-proof, scratch-resistant coating can help prevent scratches from damaging your lenses and interfering with your vision (and budget). These coatings create a harder surface to help maximize your lens’ durability, minimize the effects of everyday wear, and protect your lens investment.

UV Protection
Do you like to spend time outside? Are you concerned about UV exposure from the sun? UV coatings can help protect your eyes!
Not all lenses offer 100% UV protection, which helps shield your eyes from the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays and internal UV sources like fluorescent lights. An additional lens treatment can add UV protection to your lenses, further defending your eyes from the sun and UV rays. Many anti-glare coatings also have the option to add backside UV protection to your lenses, so your eyes are protected from direct and reflected UV rays.
